[Updated] 2024 Supplementary Admissions Exercise for International Students (S-AEIS)

Applications for the 2024 S‑AEIS start from 9am on Tuesday, 9 January 2024. It ends at 12pm on Monday, 15 January 2024, or earlier if all places for the S-AEIS tests are filled.

Before you apply for your child to take the S-AEIS Primary Mathematics test, they must:
Take the relevant paper-based or computer-based CEQ test run by Cambridge Assessment English. The CEQ test must be taken within 12 months before your S-AEIS application. Attain a minimum score in the CEQ test.

If your child has met the minimum score in the CEQ test, they can apply to take the Mathematics test appropriate for their age.

Your child should sit for the test appropriate for their age. Select your child’s intended education level to see the tests available.

There is no change in format for the AEIS-Secondary tests.

❗Your child must generally be of the age listed below as at 1 January in the year of admission. 

Unsuccessful AEIS applicants seeking admission to Primary 5 the previous year may only reapply to take S-AEIS at Primary 4. They may submit their CES scores from their B1 Preliminary for Schools test taken within 12 months before the submission date of their S-AEIS Primary online application.
