Update: From 1 April 2025, the National Immunisation Registry (NIR) will transit to the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA).
The Ministry of Health (MOH) of Singapore has introduced vaccination requirements for diphtheria and measles. This is a prerequisite for foreign-born children applying for long-term immigration passes to Singapore.
Foreign-born children aged 12 years old and below must meet certain requirements. They must submit documentary proof of vaccination for diphtheria and measles. This proof is submitted to the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA) for verification.
The NIR Reference Number is required for the application of student’s pass (STP), dependent’s pass (DP), and long-term visit pass (LTVP).
