IELTS opens doors throughout the world. It is the world’s most popular English language proficiency test for higher education and global migration, with over 3 million test taken in the past year. IELTS is trusted by over 10,000 organizations, including universities, professional bodies, employers and migration authorities.

IELTS is a test that measures the language proficiency of those who want to study or work in environment where English is used as language of communication or as first language.

There are two modules to choose from:

  1. IELTS Academic
  2. IELTS General Training

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a system which tests the ability of candidates to communicate in the English language across the four key components of language use, they are:

  1. Listening (30 minutes + 10 minutes)
  2. Reading (60 minutes)
  3. Writing (60 minutes)
  4. Speaking (11-14 minutes)

IELTS has 9-band scale in determining the level of proficiency of candidates. Following table shows the skill level of each band.

Preparatory Course for IELTS

In this course, the students will be guided in achieving proficiency in the language and preparation for the test. Our target is to deliver the IELTS preparatory course in a manner which zeroes in on basic conversational skills and expressions, basic listening comprehension, reading and writing of simple vocabulary and phrases for interaction purposes, all of which fully prepares the candidate to fulfill the four key requirements of the IELTS, and acquire the expected proficiency level in the language.

The course will include:

  • Basic conversational skills and expressions
  • Basic listening comprehension
  • Reading and writing of simple vocabulary and phrases for interaction purpose

By the end of the course, students will be able to sit for the IELTS examination.
