Entry Requirements

International Students

• Kaplan Foundation Diploma; OR
• Minimum 1 GCE A-Level pass; OR
• Completion of Year 12; OR
• Completed High School education in their home country; OR
• IB Diploma; OR
• Pre-university certifications (based on the equivalence to the GCE A-Level); OR
• Other private or foreign qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis (based on the equivalence to the GCE A-Level)

English Requirements

• At least D7 in GCE O-Level English; OR
• IELTS 6.0 or equivalent¹; OR
• Kaplan Diploma in Professional Business English (PBEP) Level 5¹

The Diploma programme consists of 8 modules. Programme duration is 11 months with possible completion in 8 months.

Delivery

Blended learning, which is a combination of face-to-face teaching and online learning, has been introduced to the Diploma programme to improve your learning experience.

Each full-time Kaplan Diploma programme consists of 8 modules that may be completed in a minimum of 8 months over 4 terms. Each module is timetabled to include 24 face-to-face contact hours* and supplemented with 18 hours’ worth of online lessons and materials made available via real-time online learning and on-demand self-directed learning. There are 42 hours in total curriculum hours per module.

*Due to COVID-19, majority of the face-to-face contact hours are currently delivered via online real-time learning. Once the situation improves, arrangements will be made to reinstate classroom delivery progressively.

Assessment & Exams

Each module is assessed by any combination of class participation, examinations, projects or written assignments. Assessment methods may vary according to individual module requirements.

Tuition Fees

The total tuition fee covers registration, lectures/tutorials/workshops and assessments such as assignments/tests/examinations/projects (where applicable), programme materials in digital format, Diploma (if earned) and transcript.

• Administration Fee: S$963 (includes application for Kaplan Student Access Card, Student’s Pass, Fee Protection Scheme and Medical Insurance)

Commencement Date

There are 6 intakes per year: February, April, June, August, October and December. Please contact our programme consultant to obtain a copy of the class schedule.

Graduation & Degree Awarded

Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Diploma in Business Management from Kaplan Higher Education Academy.
