The College aims to inspire students to reach their full potential and takes pride in enhancing their learning experience.
MDIS College has set a proven track record of preparing students to excel in the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Ordinary and Advanced Level), and Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), through its comprehensive preparatory courses, since its establishment in 2006.
Our team of highly qualified teachers and dedicated administrative staff ensures that students are educated in a caring, conducive and engaging learning environment. As an EduTrust-certified institution, MDIS College is committed towards maintaining high quality standards to deliver positive student outcomes.
MDIS College achieved its milestone of becoming a Cambridge International School in 2018, offering new preparatory courses for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). By attaining Cambridge qualifications that are internationally well-recognised, our students have the opportunity to pursue their further studies in universities and colleges in any parts of the world.
With its robust academic programmes and various pastoral care initiatives, MDIS College is dedicated to provide a holistic and all-inclusive learning experience for students.
Programme Objectives
The Preparatory Course for Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) is designed for students of age 14 years old and above, who aspire to acquire a qualification that is recognised by many countries and progress to higher education and vocational studies.
Upon completion of the course, students will sit for the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) which is conducted jointly by the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), the Ministry of Education, Singapore and the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB).
The GCE O-Level system is equivalent to the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) examination taken by students in the United Kingdom.

10 Months
- Completed at least Secondary 3 Education / Year 9 or equivalent
- Minimum Age: 15 (as at 1st Jan of the year of GCE ‘O’ Level examinations)
- Language Proficiency: Secondary 3 English / Certificate in English or equivalent / IELTS 5.0 or equivalent / Online English Placement Test conducted by MDIS / Achieve score of 75 and above in Duolingo English Test or equivalent
16 Months
- Completed at least Secondary 3 education or equivalent
- Minimum Age: 15 (as at 1st Jan of the year of GCE ‘O’ Level examinations)
- Language Proficiency: Secondary 3 English / Certificate in English or equivalent / IELTS 5.0 or equivalent / Online English Placement Test conducted by MDIS / Achieve score of 75 and above in Duolingo English Test or equivalent
24 Months
- Completed at least Secondary Two Education / Year 8 or equivalent
- Minimum Age: 14
- Language Proficiency: Completed Secondary Two English / Year 8 English / MDIS Certificate in English (CIE) or equivalent / Achieve score of 75 and above in Duolingo English Test or equivalent
Student Pass Application
International students are required to apply for a student pass if he/she wishes to study full-time in Singapore.
We will assist students with enrolment and student’s pass application. Please contact us for the registration.
