Children born between 2 January 2014 and 1 January 2015 (both dates inclusive) can participate in the 2020 Primary One Registration Exercise for admission to Primary One classes in 2021.
Non-Singapore Citizen (SC) / non-Permanent Resident (PR) children who wish to seek admission to Primary One (P1) in 2021 are required to undergo a two-step process:
Step 1: Submit an online indication of interest from 2 to 8 June 2020, must do it by 8th June 2020
AND
Step 2: International student applicants will be notified in October 2020 by MOE as to whether they can be offered a P1 place in the school. If a place is offered, the parent the child will be informed of how to register with the designated school.
The submission of the online indication of interest is not considered registration and not on a first-come-first-serve basis. Admission to P1 is not guaranteed due to limited vacancies, as priority is given to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.
Documents required:
- Child’s birth certificate (if birth certificate is in other languages, please submit an accurate English translated copy); and
- Child’s valid passport data page
